Please be aware if you are told at check-in that your insurance has estimated an amount due that no actual report from your insurance may have been received and this is could be misleading information. The implication is by the staff that they have received info from your insurance company. The estimate may have actually been done in-house in their favor. You will be plied with a discount in order to coax you into making the payment up front. Unless you have personally verified you will owe money, you may want to hold off. Otherwise, this could result in you having to wait on red tape to get your very large payment back.
